Our Recipients

Sally and David are parents of 6 year old Oscar. At 14 months, Oscar was diagnosed with a genetic neuromuscular disorder, SMA type 2. Oscar is a bright first grader who will never walk and whose future is unknown.

IVF with genetic testing is the only option to ensure the couple will have a second child without this condition.

“We are amazed that an organization such as Baby Quest even exists. We are honored to have been chosen as recipients. Without Baby Quest’s help, we could not be moving in this direction. This grant allows us to begin 2015 with a lightness of heart and with a sense of possibility. For this, we are so grateful.”

Sally & David received a grant and underwent infertility treatment, which, unfortunately, was not successful.
