Although Charna and Sam grew up a few miles from each other in Miami, it took NYC to bring them together in April 2014.

After getting engaged, they moved back to Miami to be near family. They celebrated their wedding in November 2016. Having children had always been Charna’s dream. Sam was drawn to her instinctive way with children and her warm, bright personality, innate strength and huge heart.

She beat breast cancer in 2015, but weeks after the wedding, she was diagnosed with a malignant tumor and endometrial cancer.

After a life-saving emergency hysterectomy and chemotherapy, Charna is cancer free and in remission. “We are so appreciative that Baby Quest is able to help keep our dream of creating a family alive. We look forward to beginning our journey through surrogacy.”

Charna and Sam became parents of Baby Quest babies #69 and #70 on March 28, 2019, with the birth of Evina Rose and Joseph William.
