Caitrin and Kyle have been married for almost 8 years.

After nearly 3 years of trying to conceive, they became pregnant via a second IUI. Their daughter Embree was born on June 11, 2017. She was beautiful and perfect for her first six months of life.

Soon after, the baby began showing disturbing symptoms and was hospitalized at 7 months for a bone infection.

As other issues surfaced, she was diagnosed with Sandhoff disease, a rare progressive neurodegenerative condition, always fatal. The couple lost their child when she was 15 months.

They will proceed with IVF with pregenetic screening, since both Caitrin and Kyle are carriers for this dreaded disease.

Caitrin and Kyle became parents to a healthy boy on 7/8/2020.
